Things to know
I can work with patients who live anywhere in Washington State. Initial evaluation appointments (your first full appointment) cost $200 for 50 minutes. All following appointments are 50 minutes and cost $165. Payment is by credit or debit card and is billed at the end of each session. My services may be covered by insurance. It is the patient’s responsibility to investigate their coverage and apply for reimbursement. I am happy to provide documentation to facilitate this process.
The duration of therapy is determined by your satisfaction with meeting your goals. Occupational therapy for mental health is typically shorter-term and more focused on immediate functional goals than other types of talk therapy.
Because occupational therapists fall under the umbrella of rehabilitation medicine, before your initial appointment, I may need a referral for evaluation and treatment and your diagnosis from a medical provider (a primary care doctor or psychiatrist). Insurance companies may require a referral for out of network reimbursement. I cannot take Medicare patients.
